Woking Shopping Social Media House Rules


Thank you for joining our online community and continuing to support us on a daily basis. We strongly encourage interaction on our social media and we love when you get involved on our Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, by joining our conversations, sharing content and telling us about your experiences at Woking Shopping. We want to make our social channels as interesting as possible for all of our followers. However, it is of utmost important to us that all of our social channels are appropriate to all ages and that our followers have a positive experience on our pages. So we have put some house rules in place for all our fantastic followers. 

We love to interact with our followers. Therefore we make every effort to respond to your direct comments or posts within 12 hours. Our working hours are 9 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday but we also monitor messages received outside of this time, and will respond as soon as possible. We encourage you to post images, videos, or any other content on Woking Shopping’s social media pages and we may even feature you in our future social media posts before which you will be contacted for approval. 

We also encourage you to share any problems or situations that you may be witness of at Woking Shopping however, we do ask that you share these via private message so that we can address the situation accordingly.

We encourage our followers to express their opinions freely on our social media pages however we will monitor posts, review comments and remove any that are inappropriate or offensive, including: 

1. Abusive, inciting violence or otherwise threatening or confrontational behaviour towards others, including swear words.

2. Discriminatory, racist, indecent, sexually explicit, or offensive comments towards others.

3. Promotional information, including any links to third party products or services.                    

4. Infringement of third party intellectual property, privacy, and/or publicity rights.

5. False, fraudulent, or misleading claims.

6. Spam messages which are corrupt or contain viruses.

Comments posted to our social media pages do not represent the views of Woking Shopping. Woking Shopping also holds the right to remove any inappropriate messages.
