Ace your Base!

As the thoughts of  long summer days fade for another year, we welcome in Autumn and start preparing for a new term, as our minds turn to all the new things we need! Of course we need the essential mathematic set and new pencil case, but our grades should not be the only thing glowing this year. This is where I step in… Lets Ace our beauty routine as well this year.

I am not talking inches of makeup or eyebrows so defined they defy the laws of algeBROW! No! I am talking about taking pride in our appearance, after all when we feel good we perform at our best.

I recently hosted a masterclass in Glasgow, where I had the pleasure of meeting a Mum and her thirteen year old daughter, I loved hearing about the makeup mishaps in her school year (I have outlined them above) my school makeup mishap involved green colour correcting fluid.. and lack of blending… needless to say after that my motto growing up was and still is “BLEND is your friend”

We created a look suitable for school, focusing on beauty basics that aren’t too “extra” for class and will see you strut through the hallways looking fresh-faced and flawless!

Look Lesson Lovely with…

Brow Contour Pro – C’mon! it even looks like a pen! And perfect to create a soft natural brow that frames the face.

That Gal – Brightening primer for a A+ glow!

Hello Happy – Soft, lightweight foundation that’s ‘freckle friendly’ SPF 15 PA+++ for protection against sun burn and ageing. Colour matching is key here, your foundation should look like second skin, correctly blended.

Boi-ing Airbrush – to hide boo boo’s and signs of late night studying.

Dandelion– Perk me up powder for instant radiance! A subtle blush that brightens beyond belief!

They’re Real Primer – I chose this as it is a soft brown tone that makes the lashes look tinted! I adore this for a natural look and for nights out you can add your favourite mascara over the top!

Posiebalm– A tinted lip balm to enhance the lips and keep them hydrated all-day.
